Why is my oticon Hearing Aid not charging?
    • D
      Darryl KramerAug 15, 2025
If the LED on your Oticon Hearing Aid remains off when placed in the charger, several factors could be the cause: 1. Ensure the charger is correctly connected to a power supply. 2. The charger or hearing aid might be too warm or cold. Move them to a location where the temperature is between +5 °C to +40 °C. 3. The charging process may be incomplete. Try reinserting the hearing aid into the charger. Note that charging will complete within +35 °C, which could extend the charging time, and the charger may pause for approximately 15 minutes to protect the battery. 4. Inspect the charger slots for any foreign objects, as the hearing aid might not be correctly inserted.

What to do if the hearing aid LED blinks orange/red when placed in the Oticon Battery Charger?
    • J
      Jessica WeaverSep 2, 2025
This can occur for several reasons. First, if the hearing aid hasn't been used for a while, it may take up to 10 minutes to resume normal charging. Second, the temperature of the hearing aid or charger might be too high or too low; move them to a location between +5°C and +40°C (+41°F and +104°F). Third, charging might be incomplete due to a room temperature exceeding +35°C (+95°F); reinsert the hearing aid to complete charging in about 15 minutes. Also, ensure the hearing aid is correctly seated in the charger, and check the charging ports for any foreign objects. If none of these steps work, consult your hearing care professional.
