Why won't my Outback Spectrum Grill burner light with a match?
    • K
      Kimberly HamiltonJul 28, 2025
If your Outback Grill burner won't light with a match, it might be due to an empty LP gas bottle (replace it), a faulty regulator (have it checked or replaced), or obstructions in the burner, gas jets, or gas hose (clean them).

Why won't my Outback Grill burner light using the ignition system?
    • E
      Erica PerezAug 4, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Outback Grill burner from lighting with the ignition system. It could be due to an empty LP gas bottle (replace it), a faulty regulator (have it checked or replaced), obstructions in the burner or gas jets/hose (clean them), a loose or disconnected electrode wire (reconnect it), a damaged electrode/wire (change them), a faulty ignitor (change it), or an incorrect electrode gap (realign the collector box to ensure a 3-4mm gap between the electrode and collector box tag).

What to do if the flame is low or I hear a flashback on my Outback Spectrum Grill?
    • J
      James CoxAug 12, 2025
If you're experiencing a low flame or flashback (fire in the burner tube accompanied by hissing or roaring) on your Outback Grill, the cause may be: * An LP gas bottle that is too small: use a larger bottle. * Obstructions in the burner, gas jets, or gas hose: clean these components. * Windy conditions: use the barbecue in a more sheltered position.

How to fix a gas valve knob that's difficult to turn on my Outback Spectrum?
    • C
      Carol WilsonAug 18, 2025
If the gas valve knob on your Outback Grill is difficult to turn, it could be due to a jammed integral ignition system or a jammed gas valve. In either case, the suggested solution is to replace the gas valve.
