3.7 Setting Phones So That They Ring For Incoming Calls
3.7.1 Allow Specific Phones to Ring on Incoming Calls
Format: 30MN0#
Explanation: Where M = the C.O. line number (either 1, 2, 3 ); N = the extension number (from 1-8)
Description: If the C.O. lines are in Operator Mode you can set which phones will ring for incoming calls.
All phones that you set will ring almost simultaneously. Up to 8 can ring in this way.
Default setting: Extensions 601 and 602 only will ring for all incoming calls on C.O. lines 1, 2 and 3.
3.7.2 Stop Specific Phones Ringing on Incoming Calls
Format: 30MN1#
Description: Disables settings as per 3.7.2
3.7.3 Stop All Phones Ringing on a Specific C.O. Line
Format: 30M#
Explanation: Where M = the C.O. line number (either 1, 2, 3 )
Description: If a C.O. line is in Operator Mode you can turn the ringing off for all phones on incoming
calls.
3.7.4 Sequential Ringing
Format: 381# to set sequential ringing mode; 380# to set simultaneous mode (default).
499TT# to set ringing time for sequential mode (in units of 1 second; default is 10s)
Description: If the C.O. Line is in Operator Mode and you set to sequential ringing, when there is an
incoming call each extension will ring one by one.
1. The programs in 3.7 are only applicable to incoming calls for C.O. lines in Operator Mode.
2. Extensions not set to ring for an incoming call will still ring for Intercom Calls and Call Transfer.
3.7.5 Call Waiting Tone (Operator Mode Only)
Format: 1880#
Description: When a caller rings in and all the phones designated to ring are busy, you will hear a call
waiting beep every 5 seconds in your earpiece. This is default.
