Locate
the
beginning
of
a
desired
programme
by
selecting
the
number
of
the
address
signal
recorded
on
the
tape
at
that
position.
To
be
able
to
use
the
VHS
Address
Search
function,
address
signals
must
be
recorded
on
the
tape.
eWhen
recording
address
signals,
space
them
so
that
the
interval
between
two
signals
is
more
than
2
minutes
in
normal
playback
time.
Recording
Address
Signals
Address
signals
(numbered
search
signals)
can
be
recorded
during
recording
or
on
already
recorded
tapes.
A
desired
4-digit
number
(0000-9999)
can
be
assigned
to
each
address
signal.
¢For
optimum
convenience
when
later
locating
desired
pro-
grammes,
write
down
the
numbers
assigned
to
the
recorded
address
signals
on
the
cassette
label.

the
VASS
mode
indicator
in
the
tape
counter.

the
VHS

Search

Recording
starts
and

VASS
mode
indicator

the
tape
counter
flashes.

while

VTR
is
in
the
recording
pause
mode,
the
pause
mode
will
be
canceled,
the
recording
will
restart
and
the
address
signal
will
be
recorded.

Record
Address
Signals

Tape
Play
back
the
tape
to
locate
a
point
that
you
may
want
to
locate
again
later
using
the
VHS
Address
Search
function,
and
put
the
VTR
in
the
still
playback
mode.
