CONTROLLER
When using a controller, set the Remote and the Controller
Selectors (ON-SCREEN mode) to the appropriate position.
1) Press the SCREEN DISPLAY and DOWN Buttons simul-
taneously and display the Initial Setting.
2) Press the SHIFT Button. The display below will appear.
3) Press the DOWN Button. The “Controller Select” line will
flash.
4) Press the DATA Button and select “1” or “2”.
Align the “A” marks and press the cable connector
button to connect or disconnect.

the AG-A600 optional Remote Controller is connected to the
unit’s Remote Control Connector section with 34P Interface

This is the basic system for dubbing between a source

unit and the editing controller are used together.

Remote Controlier
For better edit stability, connect an external sync signal

generator as follows;
Standard Sync signal
Remote contro! functions include recording, playback, fast
forward, rewind, pause, variable tape speed playback (0~9
times normal tape speed), reverse playback (same variable
range) and stop. Operation is still possible with the unit’s
function buttons even when the Remote Controller AG-A600 is
connected to the unit.
