4-4. Understanding Time stamp feature
A Time stamp feature is available since firmware ver1.03. The feature allows to burn in the
time/date information in the footage. Download the firmware at http://panasonic.biz/sav/pass_e.
Date/time is burnt-in as a part of image.
1. Set MENU > DISP SETUP > DATE/TIME item to show date/time information.
2. Set MENU > RECORD SETUP > TIME STAMP to “ON” to enable the feature.
3. R symbol appears at the lower-bottom corner while the time stamp feature is functioning.
* Time stamp feature does not function under following conditions.
- REC FORMAT is set to SA480/59.94i or SA576i/50i
- DISP SETUP menu is set to OFF (TIME STAMP item can be set to ON but it does not function.)
- Freeze frame or Super Slow record mode is in use.
