5-3. File name (MOV format)
The AU-EVA1 supports 20-digits cine style clip naming for MOV clips as the same structure with
VARICAM series (AU-V35LT1G etc.) for easy clip management.

Camera index
(A to Z)
It can be assigned in MENU > REC SETTINGS > CLIP NAME > CAM
INDEX.
Reel number
(001 to 999)
Increments by SD memory card, the three digits index is named as SD card’s
volume label.
Clip number
(C001 to C999)
Increments by recording. Its number count returns to C001 when format a SD
card. Its number incrementing goes on even when folder is separated.
Date
yymmdd format
Unique ID
Numbers and alphabets, four letters in total
Caution
・ In the SIMUL (simultaneous) record mode, the same clip name is given to the SD card in the
both slot1 and slot2.
・ The maximum number of recordable clips in a folder is 999.
・ The maximum number of recordable clips in an SD card is approximately 4000 clips.
