Reinstallation starts according to the instructions on the screen.
l Do not interrupt reinstallation, for example by turning off the computer. Otherwise reinstallation may become
unavailable as Windows may not start up or the data may be corrupted.

13 Turnonthecomputer.
l If the password is requested, enter the Supervisor Password.
14 Performthe“First-timeOperation”(page17).
15 StarttheSetupUtilityandchangethesettingsasnecessary.
16 PerformWindowsUpdate.
n UsingRecoveryDisc
Use the Recovery Disc for reinstallation in the following conditions.
You have forgotten the administrator password.
Reinstallation is not complete. The recovery partition may be broken.
NOTE
l To change OS from 32-bit to 64-bit, or vice versa, reinstall OS using the recovery partition in the hard disk.
l You can operate with the Tablet Buttons. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
You can also use the external keyboard and external mouse.
Preparation
l Prepare the Recovery Disc ( Reference Manual “Recovery Disc Creation Utility”)
l Prepare the following items:
USB DVD drive (refer to recent catalogs and other sources for information about the products available)
l Remove all peripherals (excluding USB DVD drive)
l Connect the AC adaptor and do not remove it until reinstallation is complete.
1 TurnoffthecomputerandconnecttheDVDdrivetotheUSBport.
2 Turnonthecomputer,andclick[ClickforEnterSetup]onthescreenwhile[Panasonic]
bootscreenisdisplayed.
The Setup Utility starts up.
If the [Panasonic] boot screen is not displayed, as soon as the computer starts up, press several times until
the Setup Utility screen appears.
l If the password is requested, enter the Supervisor Password.
3 WritedownallofthecontentsoftheSetupUtilityandclick
F9
.
At the conrmation message, select [Yes] and click
Enter
.
4 Click
F10
.
At the conrmation message, select [Yes] and click
Enter
.
Computer will restart.
5 Click[ClickforEnterSetup]onthescreenwhile[Panasonic]bootscreenisdisplayed.
The Setup Utility starts up.

The License Agreement screen appears.
