with
Problems

problem
appears
to be
related

software

if a fully charged
battery
is properly
installed.
Remove the
battery pack
and disconnect
the
AC
adaptor,
then
connect
them

the computer is
connected
to
a
LAN, confirm
the
date and
time
of the
server.
This computer
will not
correctly
recognize
the date
and
time
starting
from
the
year 2100
A.D.
When resuming from
the
standby
or liibernation
mode, does not

password has
been
set
in the
Setup
Utility
Use
the
Windows
password
as follows:
Set
the password
in [Control
Panel]

then

computer

password

not

reinstalling,
setup
Windows
and then set

password
again.

the
previous
item is
not the
cause

will restore

settings
to their
default
values
(except
the
password
settings).
Try
removing
all
peripheral
devices.
Click [Local

then
select [Tools]

Now].
Click [Local
Disk(C:)l with
the right
button
in
[start]

[My
Computer],
and
select
[Prop-
erties], then
select [Tools]

Now].
At start-up,
press

F8

to
operate
the
computer
in
the safe
mode.
