Function Effect/Setting method
Bass setting
Change the lower setting of the built-in microphone according
to your choice.
≥ Change the mode to .
≥ The intelligent auto mode is set to off. (l 36)
Select the menu. (l 22)
[RECORD SETUP] # [BASS SETTING] # desired setting
[0dB]/[+3dB]/[+6dB]/[LOWCUT]
≥ Normally set to [0dB].
≥ Select [+3dB] or [+6dB] to get strong power feeling at bass level.
≥ If wind noise cannot be reduced with the wind noise reduction
function alone, select [LOWCUT]. With [LOWCUT] selected, the
bass band is suppressed when recording.
Zebra
A Zebra pattern
Parts where white saturation (colour saturation) is likely to
occur (extremely brightly lit or shiny parts) are displayed with
diagonal lines (zebra pattern).

≥ The Intelligent auto mode is set to off. (l 36)

[RECORD SETUP] # [ZEBRA] # [ON]
≥ It is poss ble to set from the quick menu in manual mode. (l 23)
≥ You can record an image with little white saturation if you
manually adjust the shutter speed or brightness (iris/gain) (l 71).
≥ The zebra pattern does not appear on the images actually
recorded.
Luminance

[ON ADJUST]:
Display only when [IRIS] is

A Luminance display frame
B Luminance level
Displays the luminance level of the centre of the screen
(luminance display frame) in %.
It makes the adjustment of the brightness of the object easier,
by checking the luminance level of the object, when recording
same object in different surroundings.

≥ Luminance level is displayed between [0%] and [99%]. It will be
displayed as [99% ] when it is over 99%.
