 Sample of Drop-prevention wire is as follows. The strength of pull-out force of portion of caulking must be
392N (40kgf) or more.
 POS Main Unit has exhaust outlet (for hot air) and fresh air inlet (for cool air).
If exhaust and intake air recirculated, POS internal temperature will be higher and this increases the risk of
negatively affecting operation.
Install POS inn location only where fresh (not recirculated) air circulation is possible.
Especially, if a POS is embedded in the counter or wall, pay full attention to prevention of exhaust and
intake air circulation. Then, design embedding so that the surrounding atmosphere of POS will always be
40°C = 104°F degrees or less.
The followings are bad example and good example for your information.
Bad example
If the surroundings of a POS main unit are enclosed, exhaust hot air will get mixed with intake air and the
circumstance temperature may go up with the continuously circulated mixed air.
