Why is caller information not displayed on my Panasonic KX-TG1611CX?
    • M
      Melanie BrownAug 17, 2025
Caller information may not be displayed because you need to subscribe to a Caller ID service. Also, if the unit is connected to additional telephone equipment, remove it and plug the unit directly into the wall jack. Interference from other telephone equipment or the lack of a DSL/ADSL filter could also be the cause.

If your unit isn't working, ensure the batteries are correctly installed and fully charged. Check all connections. Try resetting the unit by unplugging the base unit’s AC adaptor, turning off the handset, reconnecting the adaptor, and turning the handset back on. Removing and reinstalling the batteries might also help. It's also possible the handset hasn't been registered to the base unit.

      durhamvanessaAug 26, 2025
If you are experiencing noise or sound cutting in and out, it could be due to electrical interference. Try re-positioning the base unit and using the handset away from sources of interference, or move closer to the base unit. If you use a DSL/ADSL service, consider connecting a DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit and the telephone line jack. Resetting the unit by unplugging and reconnecting the AC adaptor might also help.
