(Cordless\Handset)
Make sure the base unit and cordless handset are not being used.

Press (fi) or (fl) to enter the directory list.

Press (›) or (‹).
≥The first item is displayed.

Scroll to the directory item you want to
change by pressing (›) or (‹), and press
(fl).
≥To search for the item by initial, see page 48.
≥If you do not need to change the name, go to
step 5.

Edit the name using the dialing buttons,
(fi) or (fl) (p. 46), up to 15 characters.

Press (›) (Next key).

Add a number to the current number.
≥If you do not need to change the number,
press (›) (Next key) and go to step 8.
≥Each time you press
(CLEAR/INTERCOM/HOLD)
, a digit is erased.
To erase all of the digits, press and hold
(CLEAR/INTERCOM/HOLD).
