Changing the Bluetooth PIN (Personal
Identification Number)
The PIN is used to register cellular phones to the
base unit. The default PIN is “0000”. To prevent
unauthorized access to this product, we recommend
that you change the PIN, and keep it confidential.
Important:
• Please make note of your new PIN. The unit does
not reveal the PIN to you. If you forget your PIN,
see page 217.
1. [MENU] [#][6][1][9]
2. Enter the new 4-digit PIN. then [OK]
3. Enter the new 4-digit PIN again. then [SAVE]
4. [OFF]
Changing the PIN for the second time
Follow step 1, “Changing the Bluetooth PIN (Personal
Identification Number)”, page 68. Enter the current
4-digit PIN, then continue from step 2.
