Preparations/Basics
Inserting the battery and/or SD memory card (optional)
Make sure that the camera is turned off.

Slide the release lever ( ) to the [OPEN]
position and open the card/battery door
[OPEN]

Insert the battery and card,
making sure that their
orientation is correct ( )
• Battery: Insert the battery all the way
firmly and check that it is
locked by lever (
).
• Card: Insert the card all the way firmly
until it clicks. Do not touch the
terminal.

Close the door
Slide the release lever to the [LOCK] position.
