Economizing Power
Consumption
The brightness of the screen is reduced
and the camera operates in the following
way. Other operations operate in the same
way as recording mode [ ]. Refer to P20
for the setting method.
Conditions:
• When 15 seconds pass without any
operation.
• When 5 seconds pass without any
operation after taking a picture. (Only
effective when [ECONOMY] in the
[SETUP] menu is set to [LEVEL 2].) (P22)
Operation:
• The [MONITOR OFF] message blinks and
then the LCD monitor turns off and the
status indicator lights.
How to turn the LCD monitor on again:
Press any button.
Power save:
The camera turns off and power save mode
is activated when 2 minutes pass without
any operation. Press the shutter button
halfway or turn the camera off and on to
cancel power save mode.
• Economy mode is not activated in the
following cases. (Power save mode is
activated.)
– While the menu screen is displayed.
– While the self-timer is set.
• Power save mode is not activated when
using the AC adaptor (DMW-AC6;
optional).
