Install the air lters. 5 )
Hold the air lters with the protrusion up towards the top panel as shown in the picture and insert them until

you hear a "click" sound.
Reset the [Filter Reminder].6 )
Turn on the power and perform [Cleaning up Reminder] in the [Options] menu.

Attention
Turn off the power before you clean the air lters.
z
Be sure to attach the air lters properly. If you use the projector without attaching the air lters, the projector may be
z
damaged due to the dirt or dust.
Note
If the air lter has been damaged or dust / dirt can not be removed, please replace it with a new lter.
z
The <TEMP> indicator lights up and the warning temperature message displays because of clogging within 500 hours,
z
depending on the using environment. In that case, clean the air lters at short intervals.

The air lter should be replaced when cleaning is ineffective.
A replacement air lter unit is available separately. (service component)
Contact your dealer for the optional air lters.
Also, please replace the air lters together when replacing the lamp unit.
The air lters (Part Number: Longer lter with 5 rows of intake vents H518PC13G041, Shorter lter with
3 rows of intake vents H518PC12G041) are included with the [ET-LAL330 / ET-LAL340 / ET-LAL331] replacement
lamp unit.
Replacement of the air lters

Turn off the projector, and remove the AC power plug from the AC outlet.1 )
Clean up the dust on the projector and around the air vents. 2 )
Pull out the air lters straight and slowly with grabbing the knobs.3 )
Install the new air lters (Replacement air lters). 4 )

Turn on the power and perform [Cleaning up Reminder] in the [Options] menu.

Attention
Turn off the power before you replace the air lters.

When attaching the air lter unit, make sure that the projector is stable, and work in an environment that is safe, even in the
z
event of the air lter unit dropping.
Do not operate the projector with the air lter unit removed. Dust may accumulate on the optical elements degrading picture
z
quality.
Do not put anything into the air vents. Doing so may result in malfunction of the projector.
