Replacing the Cartridge (continued)
How to replace the cartridge
⿟Before replacing the cartridge, turn off the faucet. Do not run water through with the cartridge
removed. (Doing so will cause the water to overow.)

Remove the old cartridge.
⿟Remove the cartridge in the sink.
(Water will drip)
① Turn the cartridge to the direction
indicated by the arrow.
② Remove.

Install the new cartridge.
① Mark the month when the cartridge was
replaced using a permanent marker.
E.g.: Replaced in March
⿟Dispose of the used cartridge in accordance with the applicable ordinances in the area concerned.
(The material of the cartridge cover is ABS. Refer to “Filter material” in “Specications” for the type
of the lter materials (P. EN49).)
② Align the mounting position and push in
cartridge to the direction indicated by the
arrow.
⿟Align the tab position and size.
③ Slowly turn it in the direction of the arrow
until it stops.
⿟Do not over-tighten the cartridge.
(Doing so may damage the cartridge
mount and cause water to leak.)
