WHEN TO REPLACE THE FILTER CARTRIDGE
When any of the following cases occur, replace the cartridge.
The life cycle of filter TK-CS10 is 12,500 liters, and for TK-CS20 it is 12,800 liters, this covers a filtration rate of
approximately 70 liters per day which averages 6 months of use.
(The cartridge life varies depending on the amount of water used, water quality, and water pressure.)





Cartridge life checker
(The cartridge life checker signies when to replace the cartridge (suggestion)) (For TK-CS20 only)
Attention:
•
Look at the checker from directly above.
• When making judgment by the checker, run water on “Unpurified” and set the lever to “Purified”. (For the sake of correct judgment)
Note:
•
When water is not being run or being run on “Unpurified”, the cartridge life checker is red ( ).These cases are
unrelated to the cartridge life.
• If the water faucet has not been opened enough or the water pressure is low, the cartridge life checker may keep indicating
red even the cartridge is not clogged. In this case, open the water faucet in order to operate the cartridge life checker.
• If the water gives off a taste or smell even the checker has not turned red, replace the cartridge immediately.

Clear in the beginning
Red is slightly seen
The cartridge is becoming clogged

Replace the cartridge

(This means water pressure is too high.)
Turn down the water flow at the
faucet.
When the purified water flow is low.
