Troubleshooting (Advanced)
<Only for model with digitizer>
Cannot point the correct position using your finger after resuming form sleep or hibernation while the display is rotated.
• Proceed as follows.
A Press the (USER) button to open the Dashboard for Panasonic PC.
B Use the digitizer pen to select [Pen Only] at [Screen Input].
C Select [Touch + Pen] again at [Screen Input].
• Proceeding as follows also solves this problem.
A Click (Start) and input “c:\util\resset\resset.exe” in [Search programs and files], then press
Enter
.
B Click [Yes] on the [User Account Control] screen.
C Select [Disabled] and click [OK].
D Click [Yes] when you are prompted to restart the computer

Cannot boot from internal CD/DVD drive
Check to make sure that the bootable disc is set properly.
Start up the Setup Utility, and confirm the following settings.
• [Optical Drive] is set to [Enabled] in the [Advanced] menu. ( page 162)
• [Optical Drive Power] is set to [On] in the [Main] menu. ( page 161)
• [Optical Drive] is the first device shown in [the boot order] in the [Boot] menu. ( page 165)
When an external CD/DVD drive is connected, you cannot boot from the internal CD/DVD drive.
<CF-S10 Series>
Cannot play back TV programs recorded on a commercial DVD recorder
In order to play media other than DVD-RAM, they must be finalized using the DVD recorder.
Check whether the DVD is supported in this computer. ( page 78)

The CD/DVD drive indicator does not light/blink
Check that the disc is inserted correctly.
The drive power may be turned off.
The drive power can be turned on with the following methods.
