  The focus of the Panasonic Security Camera might not automatically adjust because of several reasons. If the subject moves a lot, or there are large changes to the lighting intensity, or the light level is low, or the subject or location is extremely bright or reflective, or when viewing through windows, or the dome cover is in a locations where it can easily become dirty, or locations where there is not much contrast such as a white wall, or when there is harsh flickering, manually adjust the focus.
