  If your Partner Trimmer engine won't start, there are several potential causes: * The ON/STOP switch may be in the STOP position. If so, move it to the ON position. * The engine might be flooded. Refer to “Starting a Flooded Engine” in the Operation Section for instructions. * The fuel tank could be empty. Refill it with the correct fuel mixture. * The spark plug may not be firing. Install a new spark plug. * Fuel may not be reaching the carburetor. Check for a dirty fuel filter and replace it if necessary. Also, inspect the fuel line for kinks or splits; repair or replace as needed. * The carburetor may require adjustment. In this case, contact an authorized service dealer.
