When the installation screen appears, click the
Install Drivers button. A Welcome dialog box will
appear; click Next. When the Zoom V.90 PCI Fax-
modem dialog box appears, click Next.

The Zoom NT4 PCI modem setup dialog box will
appear. Click Run and record the modem configu-
ration settings as shown in the example below:
COM Port Number—3
Base I/O Product Address (HEX)—7c00
Interrupt Request Line (IRQ)—10
Click OK.

You’ll need to add a new COM port for your modem.
Click Start | Settings | Control Panel and double-
click on the Port icon.

From the Ports dialog box, click Add to add a new
COM port. The Advance Settings for New Port
dialog box will display. Use the settings you re-
corded in Step 3:
COM Port Number — 3
Base I/O Port Address — 7c00
Interrupt Request Line (IRQ) — 10
Click OK.

Restart your computer. Your modem has been in-
stalled. Now go to Chapter 2: Installing and Using
Communicate! LITE.
