LINE CORD (A)
For your safety, we have incorpo¬
rated a 3-wire line (mams) cable on
the bottom of the chassis with
proper grounding facilities. It is not
advisable to remove the ground pin
under any circumstances. If it is
necessary to use the amplifier with¬
out proper grounding facilities,
suitablcgrounding adapters should
be used. I^ess noise and greatly
reduced shock hazard exists when
the unit is operated with the proper
grounded receptacles. NOTE: The
above statement in reference to
removing the ground pin is appli
cable only to 120 volt model pro¬
ducts.
SPEAKER OUTPUTS <B>
Output 1 is provided for connection
of interna] or external speaker to
Power Amp 1. Output 2 is provided
for connection of internal or exter¬
nal speaker to Power Amp 2. Mini
mum total impedanceof each speaker
jack is 4 ohms.
PREAMP OUT/POWER AMP
IN (C)
A stereo Out/In jack provided for
in-line patching of effects devices
for each of the two amplifiers. A
shielded “Y" cord (Peavey Part
#0005299) with a stereo phone
plug (ring, tip and sleeve) branch¬
ing into two Ya" mono phone plugs is
required for this connection (insert
fully). The “tip” of the stereo plug
routes the signal to effects device
input. The effects device output is
returned through the “ring”. The
“sleeve” is ground The first click of
this stereo jack can be used as a
preamp output without disturbing
the signal flow to the remainder of
the system. NOTE: If the second
click of the Out/In jack is utilized
without returning any signal to the
system from an effects device, the
preamp functions will be disabled.
The preamp level is approximately
1 volt RMS and is high impedance
(600 ohms). Any effects device used
in this effects loop must be capable
of receiving 1 volt input and provid¬
ing 1 volt output m order to properly
drive the power amp.

Einc Stereo Ausgangs/Eingangs
buchse ist ftlr das Einschleifen von
Effektgeraten fur jeden der beiden
Verst&rker vorgesehen. Ein abge-
schirmtes “Y”-Kabel (Peavey Tei-
lenummer. 0005299) mit einem
Zoll-Stereoklinkensteeker (Ring,
Spitze und Mantel), welches sich in
zwei Ya u -?,o\\ Monoklinkenstecker
verzweigt, wird fur den AnschlulJ
benfttigt (bitteganzeinstecken). Die
Spitze des Stereoklinkensteckers
leitet das Signal zum Effektgerfit-
cingang. Dcr Effcktausgang wird
iiber den “Ring” des Steckeres
zuruckgefuhrt. Dcr Mantel ist fiir
die Masse vorgesehen
Wenn man den Stereostecker nur
bis zum ersten “Klick” einsteckt,
kann man diesen Signalweg als
einen Vorverstarkerausgang ohne
Beeinflussung des Signalweges
durch das Effektgerat benutzen.
Achtung! Bei voll eingestecktem
SteckerindieEin/ Ausgangsbuchse
ohne ein Signal auf dem Effektweg
ist die Funktion des Vorverstarkers
gestbrt. Der Ausgangspcgcl des
Vorverstarkers betrSgt ca. 1 Volt.
RMS. Alle Effektgerate sollten in
der I,age sein, einen Pegel von 1
Voltim Eingangzu verarbeiten und
ehenfallsein Ausgangssignal von 1
Voltabzugcbcn.

Le “Stereo Chorus’' dispose dc deux
amplis de puissance sipares. Les
prises 1 et 2 correspondent aux
sorties de ces amplis de puissance:
elles recevront les fiches de haut-
parleurs incorpores au eventuelle-
ment de haut-parleurs extern es.
L’impcdance resultante sur chaque
prise devra etre de 4 ohms.

(Sortie Preompli ct Entree Ampli)
Cette prise jack de boucle d’effet
pcrmetl’insertion d un boitier d’effet
dans le circuit du signal pour chacun
des deux amplificateurs. Le branch-
ment necessite un cable “bretelle”
(en “Y”) dont le jack stereo 6,35 ira
sur l ampli et les deux jack mono
6.35 su r 1'entree et 1 a sortie de l’effet.
Bien veiller a enfoncer complctcmcnt
ces jacks. Les cdblagedu jack ster&o
seffectue comme suit:
Depart: Extremitc
Retour: Anneau
Masse icommun); Manchon
Cette prise peut aussi servir de
sortie preompli: pour utiliscr cctte
fo net ion, prendre un jack 6,35 mono
ct l’enfoncer au premier cran sculc-
ment.
NOTE: Si un jack est enfonee au
deuxiemecran sansquunsignal ne
revienno dc 1’cffct, les fonctions du
preompli seront supprimees.
A noter en fin que le niveau de sortie
preampli est d’environ 1 volt RMS.
Les boitiers d’effets insures dans
cette boucle devront done £tre capa-
blcs d'admettre un tel niveau ainsi
que de delivrer une sortie de 1 volt
pour piloter l’ampli de puissance.

tros linens para ol cable (principal)
en el fondo del chasis puesto a
tierra. Sc advierte no remover la
punta que va a la tierra bajo -
ninguna circunstancia. Si es ne-
cesario usar el amplifirador sin las
apropiodasfacilidadcs para ponerlo
a tierra es convenient^ adaptarle
una tierra para ser usado. Menos
ruido v menos posibilidades dc un
corto circuito ex is ten cuando la
uni dad se usa en un contact# con su
propia tierra. NOTA: En referenda
a la anterior afirmacion de remover
la punta que va a la tierra es apli-
coble solamente a los modcloa dc
120 volts.

El circuito de “Chorus” al ser estereo
utiliza dos ampiificadoresdc poder.
Lasalida I fu6disenada para conec¬
tar el altavoz interno, o un altavos
externo, y la salida 2 ha sido dis-
cnada dc la mismo forma y csta
obviamente conectada al amplifi-
cador 2. La impcdancia total de
cada una de las salidas es de 4
ohms.

(Preamp Out/Power Amp In)
Conector hembra estereo de 6.3 mm
permite insertar efectos directa-
mente en el circuito del amplifico-
dor. Un cable en “Y” (Peavey parte
#0005299) con un conector 6.3 mm
(plug telefonico) estereo del cual
parten dos cables que terminal! en
dos conectorcs (plugs telefonicos)
mono, que se conectar como sigue:
dc la punta del plug csteroo a la
punta del plug que va a la entrada
(input) del ofecto quo sc quiere
conectar, del primer anillo del plug
estereo a lo punto del otro plug que
se eonecta a la salida (output 0 out)
del cfecto y cicrra el circuito dc
nuevo y la tereera ronexion va de la
tierra del plug estereo (2o. anillo) a
la tierra de los dos plugs mono-
aurales. En el case que se desee
derivar la serial del amp. como en el
caso de conectar la senal a una
grabadora, entonces solo inserte el
plug estereo hasta que escuche el
primer “click”, de esta manera la
senal dentro del amplificador seg-
uirb fluyendo sin interrupcion.
NOTA: el nivel del preamplificador
cs de aproximadamente 1 voltio
RMS y 600 ohms de impedancia;
cualquiercfccto tcndrdquescrcopaz
tur.tode recibir 1 voltio sin saturarse
como de enviarlo de regreso a! cir¬
cuito del amp.
