Safety
• This car seat meets or exceeds all
applicable Federal Motor Vehicle
Safety Standard 213 requirements
for use in motor vehicles and aircraft.
• Use this car seat rear facing only.
• Never use in a vehicle seat with an
active air bag. Read your vehicle
manual for instructions on how to turn
off the air bag.
• Complete and send in the registration
form right away.
• Always store the manual with car seat.
Keep it in the pocket on front of base.
• For vehicle use, the car seat must
always be securely installed on the
base.
• Use only approved parts. Use of
unapproved parts can affect the safety
of the car seat and cause serious injury
or death in an accident.
• Keep ngers away from moving parts.
• Never leave your baby alone in the
car seat. He or she could get tangled
in straps and seriously injured.
• Always buckle your baby into the car
seat with the harness. Be sure to latch
buckles correctly.
• When lifting the seat out of the base,
be sure you rst secure the handle into
the carrying position.
