Adjustment before towing the trailer:
Adjust the drawbar and/or the hitch of the towing vehicle so that when towing the trailer body is slightly
raised at the front.
Hitching the trailer so that the chassis is parallel to the road surface is acceptable, however this may
cause additional wear to the trailer brakes and those of the Towing vehicle.
Hitching too low will cause unnecessary wear to the suspension and brake components of the front axle,
and reduce the braking efficiency. It can also cause additional loading to be placed on the Towing vehicle.
