SANITIZING CONTINUED
9. Install by-pass and service sanitizing plugs into filter
heads.
Note: by-pass plugs used for system sanitizing are
different from the filter cartridge plugs installed
in the installation procedure.
10. Connect a six (6) foot length of 3/8 inch beverage tubing to
the inlet water shutoff valve.
11. Insert free end of same tubing into bucket of sanitizing
solution. Complete fountain dispense system sanitiza-
tion can be completed at this time if necessary and the
next step will not be required. Please refer to dispenser
manufacturer recommendations for proper procedure.
12. Connect a six (6) foot length of 3/8-inch beverage tubing
to the outlet water shutoff valve
13. Insert free end of the same tubing into empty bucket or
drain.
14. Turn the inlet water supply shutoff to the ON position.
15. Reconnect the power supply to the water boost pump.
16. Allow the water boost pump to cycle OFF.
17. Disconnect power supply to the water boost pump.
18. Turn the outlet water supply shutoff to the ON position
until all sanitizing solution has been evacuated from the
accumulator tank.
Repeat steps 15 through 19 until all 10 gallons of sanitizing
solution have been flowed through the water boost modular
system.
19. Reconnect city water supply to the inlet water shutoff
valve.
20. Reconnect the water supply lines to the outlet water
shutoff valve.
21. Remove the (2) filter cartridge sump bypass plugs, leaving
the (1) filter plug as on original startup configuration.
22. Reinstall the filter cartridges into the stainless steel
sump housings reinsert into filter heads.
23. Turn the inlet water shutoff valve to the ON position.
24. Reconnect power supply to the water boost pump.
25. Allow the water boost pump to cycle OFF.
26. Turn the outlet water supply valve to the ON position.
27. Activate one (1) carbonated dispense valve and one (1)
non-carbonated dispense valve on each dispenser sup-
plied by the system and flush for a total of five (5) gallons
of filtered city water.
28. Activate all dispense valves individually and evaluate
for any additional water taste, odor or general water
concerns.

®
Water Boost Modular Filtration System contains electrical components supplied by
115 VAC; as well as components which are under high water pressure and high-pressure air. Installation,
maintenance and servicing should be performed by qualified personal only.
NOTE: please make sure there is adequate power supply to the system and that the city water supply is turned to the on
position as the first steps in troubleshooting this system.
NOTE: Recommended installation includes use of the Pentair Shurflo 50 psi inline pressure reducer.
Troubleshooting
