To fix this, start a manual regeneration to clear the error. For metered systems, ensure it's measuring flow by checking the flow indicator while water is running. If no flow is measured, check the meter cable and its function. In Master Programming Mode, confirm the unit is correctly configured, including system capacity, day override, and meter identification. If it's a Day-of-Week system, ensure at least one day is set ON. Adjust settings as needed.

First, unplug the unit and check the powerhead. Make sure all cam switches are connected to the circuit board and working. Check the motor and drive train components for proper assembly and condition. Also, check the valve to ensure the piston moves freely. Replace or reassemble parts as needed. Plug the unit back in to see if it cycles to the next position. If the error returns, unplug it and contact technical support.

Check that there's enough salt in the brine tank, maintaining the salt level above the water level. Also, inspect the injector screen for any blockages and clean it if necessary. Ensure enough water flows into the brine tank by checking the fill time and cleaning the brine line flow control if it's plugged. If the hot water tank hardness, repeated flushing may be required. Check for leaks at the distributor tube, making sure it's not cracked and inspect the O-ring and tube pilot. Lastly, an internal valve leak may be the cause, requiring replacement of the seals, spacers, and/or piston.

If the inlet of the control is plugged due to foreign material from recent plumbing work, remove the piston and clean the control.
