You can choose the part of the screen to use for measuring brightness
and determining exposure.
1 Select [AE Metering] on the [A Rec. Mode] menu.
2 Press the four-way controller (45) to
change the metering mode.
3 Press the OK button.
The camera is ready to take a picture.
Setting the Light Metering Range
L Multi-segment
Detailed measurement of entire screen to determine
exposure.
M Center-weighted
Measures mainly the center of the screen to determine
exposure.
N Spot
Measures only the very center of the screen to
determine exposure.
