You can match your settings to the situation.
Picture Mode
There are eight modes available.
1 Press the four-way controller (3) in Capture Mode.
The virtual mode dial is displayed.
2 Press the four-way controller (23) to
select the [Picture Mode (
H)] dial,
and press the four-way controller (
5).

Landscape
(Default Setting)
Enhances your landscape photos.
I Flower Enhances your flower photos.
J Portrait Enhances your portrait photos.
M Self-Portrait Enhances self-portraits or pictures including yourself.
V Soft
Provides a softened effect for your pictures.
Softness can be set at seven levels.
L Surf and Snow
Enhances pictures taken against dazzling backgrounds
such as beaches or snow.
K Sunset Beautiful results on pictures of
sunsets or sunrises.
U Illustration Makes the photograph look like a
sketch.
