Taking Pictures

Press the four-way controller (2 ) in A mode.
The [Drive Mode] screen appears.

Use the four-way controller
(45) to select j or c and
press the 4 button.
The camera is ready for continuous
shooting and burst shooting.

Press the shutter release button halfway.
The focus frame on the display turns green when the camera focuses
on the subject at the correct distance.

Press the shutter release button fully.
Pictures are taken continuously as long as you keep the shutter
release button pressed.
• The flash does not discharge in j and c modes.
• j and c cannot be selected in 9 (Green), b (Auto Picture),
(Digital Microscope), A (Night Scene), C (Movie),
(Underwater Movie), S (Fireworks), N (Frame Composite),
X (Digital Wide) or F (Digital Panorama) modes.
• Digital Zoom and Intelligent Zoom are unavailable when the sensitivity
is set to 3200 and higher.
