VIEWFINDER DISPLAYS
Shutter-information LEDs on the left-hand side of
the viewfinder glow or flicker to indicate various
exposure data, as described here.
LED = Light-Emitting Diode
* . Indicates flash is ready.
p . Programmed AE mode
M . Metered Manual mode
1000 ~ 1 . Shutter speeds from 1/1000
to 1 sec.
"1000” (flickers)... Overexposure (flickers four
times per sec.)
”1” (flickers). Underexposure (flickers four
times per sec.)
• The two signs above indicate
the brightness of the subject
is beyond the shutter-aperture
coupling range or beyond
the metering range.
'30 ~ 1” (glows in
orange) . Camera-shake warning
Shutter speed in use
(flickers) . Memory lock
±EF . Exposure compensation
• No display for 100 and B
