Usage Features:
The AIRSALON MAX offers both manual control via an LED control panel and smart control through the PETKIT Pet App.
Device Activation:
- Power Supply Connection: Plug the power cord into the device's power socket, then into an indoor power socket, and finally turn on the power switch located at the back of the device.
- App Download and Activation: The device is inactivated at the factory. Users must download the PETKIT App from the Apple App Store or Android App Market. After turning on the device, the screen will flash, indicating the need for activation.
- Adding Device in App: Open the PETKIT App, click the "+" icon in the top right corner, and select "PETKIT AIRSALON MAX" from the list.
- Start Connection: Scan for the device or manually select "PETKIT AIRSALON MAX" to connect. Wait for "Connected" to be displayed.
- Activate Device: After successful connection, read the product use instructions within the app and activate the device.
LED Control Panel:
The LED control panel allows for direct adjustment of drying parameters:
- Temperature Setting: Single click +/- to adjust temperature between 36°C and 40°C. The PETKIT App can convert Celsius to Fahrenheit.
- Fan Speed Setting: Single click +/- to adjust among 6 levels.
- Time Setting: Single click +/- to increase/decrease 1 minute each time. Keep pressing +/- to continuously increase/decrease time in 5-minute increments.
- Start/Pause/Stop: Short press for On (Green light) or Pause (White light). Long press to Stop Drying (White light).
- Light: Single click to turn On (Light on) or Off (Light off).
- Screen Lock: Double click to Lock (Light on) or Unlock (Light off).
- Negative Ion Indicator: Light on means activated, light off means not activated.
- Fan Indicator: Light on means activated, light off means not activated.
Drying Temperature Recommendation:
- For room temperatures above 24°C, a recommended temperature of 36°C~38°C is suggested.
- For room temperatures below 24°C, a recommended temperature of 38°C~40°C is suggested.
- Important Note: When drying short-nosed pets (e.g., Garfield, Pug), it is crucial to lower the temperature.
Drying Process:
- Pre-drying: Use a towel to dry as much moisture off the pet's hair as possible to significantly reduce drying time.
- Placement: Place the pet into the drying box and close the door.
- Caution: Do not place towels, cushions, or other items inside the device, as this can block the air inlet.
- Pet Comfort: If the pet becomes uncomfortable, the openable petting door can be opened to stroke and comfort them.
- Monitoring: Pet owners must accompany and closely watch their pet until the device emits a "dee, dee" sound, indicating drying completion. For pets with long hair, brushing their hair during drying is recommended.
App Function:
The PETKIT App enhances the user experience with additional features:
- Check Device Status: View the device's working status, remaining drying time, internal temperature, and humidity.
- Adjust Parameters: Adjust temperature, wind strength, and duration directly from the app.
- Default Drying Modes: The AIRSALON MAX offers three default modes: Comfort, Normal, and Fast.
- Custom Drying Mode: Users can adjust temperature, wind strength, and duration according to their pet's specific needs and save these parameters as a new custom mode.
Maintenance Features:
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the device's longevity and hygiene. It is recommended to regularly remove and clean the inner wall of the device, the removable air outlet base plate, and the air inlet filter plate after each drying session.
Dismantling Parts:
- Air Inlet Filter Plate and Filter Screen:
- Step 1: Unscrew the screw on the handle of the air intake filter plate using a screwdriver.
- Step 2: Buckle the bottom of the filter plate with fingers, pull it out while lifting it upwards.
- Step 3: Pull out the filter screen from the back of the air intake filter plate with fingers.
- Air Outlet Bottom Plate: Place a finger on the grip position under the removable air outlet base plate and lift it up to remove it.
- Air Inlet Cover and Filter Cotton: Pinch the handle on the top of the air inlet cover, pull it out while pressing down, then remove the filter cotton.
Cleaning Parts:
- Clean pet hair from the filter cotton, air inlet cover, filter screen, air inlet filter plate, and air outlet bottom plate. Wash and dry all these parts.
Wiping the Device:
- Use a dry cloth to wipe the air inlet, wind inlet, air outlet, the inside of the main unit, sensor, buttons, and other areas.
- Important: The sensor cannot get wet.
Parts Installation:
- Air Inlet Cover and Filter Cotton:
- Put the dry filter cotton into the air inlet groove.
- Align the two protrusions under the air inlet cover with slots 'a' and 'b' on the drying box.
- Insert them and press the handle of the air inlet cover until a "snap" sound is heard.
- Air Outlet Base Plate:
- Ensure the "FRONT" text on the air outlet base plate faces forward.
- Align the bottom of points 'e', 'f', and 'g' on the inner wall of the drying box.
- Secure tightly.
- Filter Screen and Air Inlet Filter Plate:
- Step 1: Install the filter screen on the back of the air inlet filter plate and press with hand, ensuring cylinders on both sides are embedded in the round holes.
- Step 2: Place the two protrusions above the air inlet filter plate, align them with slots 'c' and 'd' on the air outlet.
- Press the handle of the air inlet filter plate until a "snap" sound is heard.
- Step 3: Use a screwdriver to tighten the air inlet filter plate screws.
Precautions:
- Ensure the mobile phone is within 3 meters of the device for App settings.
- Adjusted parameters during operation are not synchronized for the next use; set parameters before each drying session.
- Turn off the power switch on the back if the AIRSALON MAX is not to be used again after drying.
- Pet owner must be present during use.
- Strictly for indoor use in a dry environment.
- Clean hair from the dryer and air inlet immediately after each drying.
- Do not block air outlets with towels or other items.
- Place the device on a hard, flat horizontal surface.
- Only for pets 6 months and older.
- Minors are prohibited from using this device.
- Consult a veterinarian for pets with special circumstances (e.g., old age, mobility issues, physiological diseases).
- Do not disassemble the equipment without permission in case of abnormal heating or noise.
- If the pet is uncomfortable, comfort them via the Cat Patting Window or adjust wind force; stop use if discomfort persists.
- Do not move the equipment while a pet is inside.
- Use correctly to avoid electricity leakage from pets biting wires, despite low voltage mode.
- For prolonged storage, switch off power and unplug the cord.
- Keep away from direct sunlight and ignition sources.
- Do not soak the product in water.
- Do not stack articles on top of the equipment.
- Use the provided power cord only.
- Reserve 10cm space when placing near a wall.
