TROUBLE SHOOTING
If the unit malfunctions, check out the following before calling for service.
Malfunction Check/Remedy
The chamber is not cooled
at all
Ŷ The circuit breaker of power source is active.
Ŷ The voltage is too low (In this case, call an electrician).
Ŷ The power is not supplied.
Ŷ The power switch is not ON.
The cooling is poor
Ŷ The large amount of articles (load) is stored in the chamber at
one time.
Ŷ The ambient temperature is too high.
Ŷ The latch of inner door is not closed completely. The outer door
is not closed firmly. (The frost or ice between the cabinet and door
gasket possibly prevents door seal.)
Ŷ The air intake vent is blocked.
Ŷ The condenser filter is clogged. Always clean the condenser
filter when the filter check lamp is lit.
Ŷ The outer door is not shut tightly.
Ŷ The inner door is not installed correctly.
Ŷ The set temperature in the controller is not set properly.
Ŷ The freezer is in the direct sunlight.
Ŷ There is any heating source near the freezer.
Ŷ A rubber cap and insulation are not set correctly on the access
port.
Alarm test key cannot
activate the alarm
Ŷ The alarm is activated only when the power switch is ON.
Ŷ When only the buzzer or only the alarm is actuated by the alarm test
key, the unactuated part is out of order, and must be replaced.
