If you cannot set a delay on the Home Theatre System,
you can set the TV to sync the sound. You can set an
offset that compensates for the time necessary for the
Home Theatre System to process the sound of the TV
picture. You can set the value in steps of 5ms. Maximum
setting is 60ms.
13.5. Multi View
The Multi View allows two video sources to share the
same screen simultaneously. Videos can be Side by Side
or one video in a small window overlaying other videos
(Picture in Picture mode).
Activation and deactivation
Press (Quick Menu/MENU) to open Quick Menu and
select Multi View to open Multi View settings menu. You
can also press HOME, move to Your apps row and
open Multi View app to link to Multi View settings
menu. To deactivate the Multi View, select Exit Multi
View on top of Multi View settings menu.
Multi View settings
On Multi View setting menu, you can manage the video
source for View 1 (Main view) and View 2 (Sub view),
change the view mode between Side by Side or Picture
in Picture, enable/disable Dual sound to output the
audio from both sources, adjust the sound balance when
Dual sound is enabled and select Exit Multi View to
deactivate the Multi View. Multi View setting menu will
be dismissed if there is no user interaction after few
seconds.
Select source for main view and sub view
Multi View has two views, which are View 1 (Main view)
and View 2 (Sub view). Both position and size of Main
view and Sub view are predefined. From the Multi View
setting menu, the view mode can be switched between
Side by Side (equal size) or Picture in Picture (a small
Sub view overlaying Main view).
The video sources of Main view and Sub view can be
installed Satellite channels, installed Antenna/Cable
channels and input video from HDMI/USB ports. When
the video source is not set from Multi View setting menu,
the default priority to show on View 1 and View 2 are
installed Satellite channels, Installed Antenna/Cable
channels and then HDMI/USB videos.
Control mode
In MANAGE VIEW setting menu, after a source is
selected, you can enter the Control mode by selecting
Control for more settings. The Control mode is available
for Satellite/Antenna/Cable channels and USB sources.
The Control mode for Satellite/Antenna/Cable channels
includes Subtitles, Subtitle language and Audio
language setting options. For USB sources, the Control
mode can adjust the settings of Select USB (USB devices),
Browse (Videos), Play All/Once, Subtitles, Subtitle
language, Character set and Audio language.
Press OPTIONS key on remote control will exit from
Control mode.
Dual sound
The audio from View 1 (Main view) is always enabled
and the audio from View 2 (Sub view) is turned off by
default. Switch on the Dual sound will turn on the audio
from View 2 and the TV output sound will be mixed
sound from both View 1 audio and View 2 audio. You
can also adjust the sound balance between View 1 and
View 2 by Dual sound balance slider.
Independent Listening
The Sound on Bluetooth® device under the MANAGE
VIEW settings of View 2 allows TV to send View 2 audio
to a Bluetooth® audio device for independent listening.
When entering Sound on Bluetooth® device menu,
select one of paired Bluetooth® audio device from the list
to output the View 2 audio. Once a Bluetooth® audio
device is assigned for View 2 audio, the TV output sound
will not be mixed sound when the Dual sound is enabled.
The View 1 audio will be output to TV speakers and the
View 2 audio will be output to Bluetooth® audio device.
13.6. Ambilight
Turn Ambilight On or Off
Turn on Ambilight
Press AMBILIGHT to turn on, or you can turn on by
selecting Settings > Display and
sound > Ambilight > Ambilight style > Enable.
To switch off Ambilight:
1 - Press AMBILIGHT.
2 - Press OK on Enable option to switch on or off the
Ambilight.
3 - Press (left) to go back one step or press Back to
close the menu.
