Note that to create a contact, you must provide at
least a number.
Most of the fields are free-text, meaning that you can
enter alphanumeric data using the text entry functions
of your mobile phone (for more information on text
entry, see “Text Entry” on page 14).
Phonebook Options
In the phonebook, you can display the details of a
contact by selecting it and pressing
L
Options to
view/edit more details:
View groups
The View groups feature allows you to organize your
contacts so that you can associate images and/or
ringtones with a group of contacts and send messages
to all the members of the group. From the Contacts
menu, select View groups and the list of groups is
displayed.
View
Select a group and press
L
Options > View to display
the members of the group.
Options Description
View View the details of the selected
contact.
Send
message
Send a Text Message or Multimedia
Message to the contact.
Call Call the contact.
Delete Delete the contact.
Default
number
View the default numbers: Mobile
number, Company number and Home
number.
Send
contact
Select to send the contact via Infrared
or Bluetooth.
Copy
contact
Copy the entry to SIM card or phone.
Move
contact
Move the entry.
Add picture Add a picture ID to the contact. This
option is only available for contacts on
the onboard phonebook.
Select
multiple
Select one contact at a time or select
all contacts.
