CD (VCD) or some DVDs.

SUBTITLE
– Selects a DVD subtitle language.

REC MODE
– Toggles between recording modes :
HQ, SP, EP or SLP.
This determines the quality of the
recording and the amount/length of time
you can record on a DVD±R/±RW.
