2.4 END-USER/DEALER SCRIPT INTERFACE 14
This interface is used during execution of the script to display output and error messages. 15

The DVD Recorder is tested stand-alone: no other equipment than the DVD Recorder is 21

2.4.2 Activation 24
Pressing the play-key on the keyboard of the DVD Recorder during power-on activates the 25
dealer script. 26

2.4.3 Usage 28
The test requires no user interaction. A number of nuclei will be run before a message is 29
returned indicating if there is a failure in the DVD Recorder (‘’PASS” will be indicated when the 30
product functions OK and “FAIL” when there has been an error during one of the tests). 31
During the execution of this script, a progress indicator is displayed on the display of the DVD 32
Recorder. 33
Note that from the command line interface this script can be started as well, by entering ‘script’ 34
on it. 35
