Disc Operations
Still Picture and Frame-by-frame
playback (DVD/DVD-A/VCD)
You can activate frame by frame playback
by pressing PAUSE ; or 3 button on
the remote control repeatedly.
OR
1 Press SYSTEM MENU and press 3 4
to select {TOOLBAR} option.
2 Use the 1 2 3 4 keys on the Remote
Control to navigate in the menu.
Move to {SEARCH} and press 4.
Move to {FRAME BY FRAME} and press 2.
➜ Playback will pause.
3 Use the cursor keys 1 2 to select the
previous or next picture frame.
4 To exit frame by frame playback, press
PLAY B.
Slow Motion
(DVD/DVD-A/VCD/SVCD)
Slow motion can be activated by pressing
the 4 button. To exit slow motion mode,
press PLAY B.
OR
1 Press SYSTEM MENU and press 3 4
to select {TOOLBAR} option.
2 Use the 1 2 3 4 keys on the Remote
Control to navigate in the menu.
Move to {SEARCH} and press 4.
Move to {SLOW} and press 2.
➜ Sound will be muted.
3 Press 1 2 to select the required speed:
<1/8, <1/4, <1/2 or <1 (backward), or >1/
8, >1/4, >1/2 or >1 (forward).
➜ Select 1 to play the disc at normal
speed again.
4 To return to normal speed, press PLAY B.
Searching (DVD/DVD-A/VCD/
SVCD/CD/MP3/SACD)
For DVD/DVD-A/VCD/SVCD
1 Press SYSTEM MENU and press 3 4
to select {TOOLBAR} option.
2 Use the 1 2 3 4 keys on the Remote
Control to navigate in the menu.
Move to {SEARCH} and press 4.
Move to {FAST} and press 2.
➜ Sound will be muted.
3 Use 1 2 to select the required speed:
<<4, <<8 or <<32 (backward), or >>4,
>>8 or >>32 (forward).
4 To return to normal speed, press PLAY B.
● You can also hold down T or S
keys for more than two seconds to
activate fast search.
TIPS:
The operating features described here might not be possible for certain discs. Always refer
to the instructions supplied with the discs.
For CD/MP3/SACD
1 Use the 1 2 keys to select the required
speed: <<32, <<8 or <<4 (backward), or
>>4 or >>8, >>32 (forward).
2 You can also hold down T or S
keys for more than two seconds to
activate fast search.
