Preparations
FM Antenna
For be_er FM stereo reception, connect an
outdoor FN a_enna to the FM ANTENNA
terminal¸
(C_ Speakers Connection
Front Speakers
Connect the speakerwires to the SPEAKERS
(FRONT) terminals, ri£_ speakerto "R" and left
speakerto "L",colored (marked) wire to "+"
and black (unmarked) wire to "--".
Clip the strippcxJ portion of the speaker wire as
shown

For optimal sound performance, use the
supplied speakers.
Do not connect more than one speaker to any
one pair of -F / -- speaker terminals.
Do not connect speakers with an impedance
lower than the speakers supplied. Please refer to
the SPECIFICATIONS section of this manual
Optional Connection
The opt onal eq pTqent and conpectin£ cords
are not supplied Refer to the operatln Z
instructions of the connected equipment for
details
Connecting other equipment to your
system
Connect the audio left and rght OUT temTinals
of a TVVCR, Lser Disc playe< DVD player or
CD Recorder to the AUXlCDR IN terminals¸

If you are connecting equipment with a
monaural output (e single audio out terminal),
connect it to the AUX/CDR IN left terminal
Alternatively, you can use a"singte to double"cinch
cable (still be mono sound).
Inserting batteries into the
Remote Control
B_serttwo batter es (Type R0b orAA) into the
remote control with the correct polarity as
ind cared by the 4- and -- symbols inside the
battery compartment,
CAUTION!
- Remove batteries if they are exhausted
or not to be used for a long time,
- Do not use old and new or different
types of batteries in combination,
- Batteries contain chemical substances, so
dispose of them properly.
