Basic Functions
Switching the system on
In Standby/Demonstration mode
Press STANDBY ON
"_ TEe system wll swdd] to the ast selected
SOUrce
Press CD, TUNER TAPE AUX (or CD 123,
TUNER, TAPE 1/2 or AUX/CDR on the
r_mote control)
TEe system will switch to the selected source
P-ess any one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY
buttons
-_ The system will switch to CD mode
In Eco Power Standby mode
Press ECO POWER
-_ The system wll switch to the ast selected
SOUrce¸
Press CD 123,TUNER, TAPE 1/2 or AUYd
CDR on the remote control¸
-_ The system will switch to the selected source¸
Switching the system to Standby
mode
In Demonstration mode
Pressand hold DEMO STOP on the
system
In any other source mode (except Eco
Power Standby mode)
PressSTANDBY ON (or _) on the remote
co_l)
-_ TEe cock will appear on the displa7w_en the
system isin Standby mode
Switching the system to Eco
Power Standby mode (< 1 Watt)
PressECO POWER (or press and hod I@o_
the remote co_rol)
-_ "/_ E_b_U,TM wll be displayed,then the
dsplay screenwill go blank
-_ TEe low power ECO POWER LED will be
li£hted
Note:
If you havenot deactivatedthe demonstration,it
will resume Evesecondsafter tile systemswitches
to EcoPowerStandbyor Standbymode.
Power Saving Automatic Standby
As a power sayng feature, the system will
automat cally switch to Standby mode f you do
not press any but*ons within 30 min tes after a
dsc or tape has stopped playing
Display mode
There are fur diff_rer,t d splay modes for
select on.
P-essDISPLAY repeaced}yto select NORMAL,
NODE 1,NODE 2, or NODE 3
NORMAL ..,,,,,,All available LEDs will light up
and the display screen wll have
fJI bdghtness TheVU will be in
mHSlCmode
MODE 1 .......... All available LEDs will light up
and the display screen wll have
fJI bdghtness TheVU will be in
volume mode
MODE 2 .......... All available LEDs will light up
and the display screen wll be as
half bdghtness TheVU will be m
mHSlCmode
MODE 3 .......... The display screen wll be as half
brghtness TheVU and all LEDs
will be off:
Volume Control
Adjus_VOLUME to _crease (turn nob
clockwise or pressVOLUME + ) or decrease
(turn kl_ob co nter clockwise or press
VOLUI4E --) the sond level
To listen through the headphones
Connect the headphones plug to the _ socket
at the fruit of the system
-_ The speakers wll be mcled
To switch off the volume temporarily
P-oss MUTE on the remote control.
-_ Playback will continue without sound and
"I'IUT[" will be displayed
Tu restore the volume, press MUTE again or
increase theVOLUME level
