Take out the tank and ll it with fresh drinkable water or top it up by means of the
special port.

A beverage with milk has been selected. The machine requires the carafe handle
spout to be placed into dispensing position.
Press the button "ESC" to cancel the selection.

The carafe rinse function has been selected.
Press the button "ESC" to cancel the selection.
INSERT CARAFE
ESC
The selected operation requires the milk container for brewing. Insert the container
in the machine as speci ed in the manual.
Press the button "ESC" to cancel the selection.

Perform a descaling cycle on the machine.
When this message is displayed, it is still possible to use the machine, but its correct
operation might be compromised.
Damages caused by failure to descale the machine are not covered by warranty.

The machine requests the "Intenza" water lter to be replaced with a new one.
Replace the lter as described on page 7.
The alarm is displayed only if the "Enable Filter" function is set to "ON".
(See page 30).

The Stand-by settings can be changed.

RESTART TO SOLVE
An event has occurred which requires the machine restart.
Take note of the code (E xx) shown at the bottom.
Switch o the machine, wait 30 seconds and then switch it on again. If the problem
persists, contact the service centre.
