Overview

This document provides a comprehensive instruction manual for the M110 portable label printer, covering its functions, usage, and maintenance.

Function Description

The M110 is a portable label printer designed for various labeling needs. It supports printing on pre-cut paper, black mark paper, and continuous paper, offering flexibility for different applications. The printer is equipped with a thermal printing mechanism, ensuring clear and efficient label production. It features a simple interface with a power button and a feed button, allowing for easy operation. The device also includes a USB port for connectivity and a reset hole for troubleshooting.

The printer's core function is to generate labels based on user input, which is primarily managed through a dedicated mobile application called "Print Master." This app allows users to create new labels, customize their size and type, and input text. It also offers a variety of editing functions, including inserting icons, borders, pictures, and time stamps. Users can generate one-dimensional and QR codes, insert lines and shapes, and even import tables for quick list printing. Additionally, the app supports text recognition from images and provides one-click editing/printing of scene label templates, enhancing its versatility.

Usage Features

The M110 printer is designed for ease of use, starting with its paper roll installation. To install a paper roll, users first long-press the power button for 3 seconds. Then, they open the paper compartment cover by holding both sides of the paper outlet and lifting forcefully. The label paper mounting bracket is removed, and the label paper roll is inserted with the printing side down, followed by pushing the left baffle to the right to secure it. The installed label roll holder is then aligned with the card slots and placed into the paper compartment. Finally, about 15mm of paper is pulled out from the paper exit, and the cover is closed. The printer automatically feeds the paper to position the label gap, completing the installation. It's important to note that after the first operation or each time consumables are replaced, the printer will automatically feed paper to ensure proper label positioning and prevent incomplete or misaligned printing.

Connectivity to the printer is established via Bluetooth 4.2 through the "Print Master" app. For Android users, turning on GPS and confirming authorization is required due to mobile phone system requirements for geographic location access during connection. Once connected, users can choose to create a new label or select from existing templates. When creating a new label, users customize the label size and paper type within the app, then input text using the "(T)" icon. After editing, the "Print" button initiates the printing process. When using a template, users select the desired label paper template, input text, and then print. It is crucial to select the matching template to avoid undesirable situations like half-printed labels.

The printer's display settings home menu offers various options for customization. Users can select the language (English, Spanish, French), adjust print density (from weakest to darkest across 15 levels), and set print speed (from slowest to fastest across 5 levels). The paper gap type can be set to continuous, gap, or black mark. An auto power-off feature can be configured for durations ranging from 5 minutes to 24 hours, or disabled. Users can also restore factory settings by pressing the power button, view the firmware version, and display the device address. The screen provides hints for various states, such as "Shutting down" (battery lower than 1%), "Printing..." (printing regularly), "Feeding..." (press Feed button), "High temperature please wait" (print head is overheated), "No Paper..." (no paper or incorrect installation), and "Paper cover is opened."

Maintenance Features

Maintaining the M110 printer involves addressing common issues that may arise during operation. If paper is fed into the bin but not detected, users should check if the paper is correctly placed on the right side of the printer, pull out a bit of paper from the outlet to ensure it's between the upper and lower paper sensors, and then close the bin cover. If the printer does not respond after a long press of the power key, it might be due to power failure, and charging for half an hour is recommended before restarting.

For automatic shutdown issues, users should check if the App has set an automatic shutdown time or if the power is too low, necessitating a timely charge. If the printer refuses to charge, users should first charge for at least half an hour. A manual reset can be performed by pressing the reset plughole (located beside the charging port) for 1-2 seconds with a pin. It's also important to verify that the charger uses 5V-1A or 5V-2A. If these steps fail, replacing the charger or trying another outlet is suggested, and if the problem persists, contacting the local dealer for replacement.

If the paper is blank after printing, users should check if the paper roll is installed reversely, ensuring the printing paper is facing down and to the right side. Additionally, if the paper is blank during the printing gap, the printer display menu should be checked to confirm "label paper" is correctly selected. Fuzzy printed content can be resolved by checking if the label roll is within its storage period, removing any foreign matters, or cleaning/replacing the roll. Wiping the printing area with an alcohol swab ensures no dirt on the print head.

For indirect skip or incomplete printing, users should cleanse the printer thermistor and paper outlet. Reinstalling the paper roll bracket and manually pressing the paper feeding key once allows the printer to recognize the paper gap position. Verifying that the paper size and software print template match is also crucial. If the printer does not run smoothly or experiences feeding failure, the paper roll bracket might be too tight or stuck. Ensuring an appropriate gap (about 1mm) between the roll and baffles can prevent paper jams. Wiping the printing area and paper outlet with an alcohol swab and checking for stickiness can also help. Finally, the printer can only connect to one mobile phone at a time. If connecting to a new phone, the previously connected one must be disconnected first.

The product comes with a one-year warranty, offering replacement/return support. Users are advised to keep the warranty card in a safe place. The manual itself is carefully checked, but for any printing errors or misunderstandings, customer service should be consulted. Updates to the supporting software will be compiled into new versions of the manual without prior notice.
