Step 5.3 Placing a BTE CROS transmitter with a
Phonak CROS Tip
With your right hand, place the Phonak CROS transmitter
(red mark, see step 5.1) behind your right ear (Fig. 5g).
Place the retention between your thumb and forenger.
Insert the Phonak CROS Tip deep enough into the ear
canal so that the retention lies at on your ear (Fig. 5h).

4. Using your Phonak CROS system
If you have problems placing the Phonak CROS
transmitter, use your other hand to gently pull your
earlobe downwards. This opens the ear canal a little
more and you can gradually rotate the Phonak CROS
Tip until it ts correctly.
