Throughout this manual, special text characters are used to indicate labels and voice instructions:
Operating control labels: CAPITAL LETTERS such as ON/OFF and SHOCK.
Voice
instructions: ITALICIZED CAPITAL LETTERS such as STAND CLEAR.

This section provides important information to help you safely operate your defibrillator. Familiarize
yourself with all of the terms, warnings, and symbols presented in this section.
Safety Terms
You may encounter the following terms in this manual and while using your defibrillator:
Danger Immediate hazards that will result in serious personal injury or death to the user and/or
the victim.
Warning Hazards or unsafe practices that could result in serious personal injury or death to the
user and/or the victim.
Caution Hazards or unsafe practices that could result in minor personal injury to the user and/or
the victim, product damage, or property damage.
