Sparkplugdismantlement (03_07)
Remove the port on the right-hand side panel of the scooter by undoing the clamping
screw and using a small screwdriver in the rear recess shown in the figure, then do
the following :
1.Disconnect spark plug HV wire cap «A»;
2.Unscrew the spark plug using the wrench supplied;
3. Upon refitting, place the spark plug into the hole at the required angle and tighten
it by hand.
4.Use the wrench only to tighten it;
5.Push cap «A » fully over the spark plug.
6.Refit the flap ensuring that the rear fastener is engaged.
WARNING
THE SPARK PLUG MUST BE REMOVED WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD. THE
SPARK PLUG MUST BE REPLACED EVERY 20,000 KM. USE OF ELECTRONIC
CONTROL UNITS OR ELECTRONIC IGNITIONS DIFFERING FROM THOSE REC-
OMMENDED CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE THE ENGINE.
