Battery (03_13)

To have access to the battery it is necessary to remove the saddle («Keys» section)

and the access hatch to the battery compartment unscrewing the star-head screws

«A» shown in the figure

IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, NEVER DISCON-

NECT THE WIRING WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. DO NOT TIP THE VEHICLE

TOO MUCH IN ORDER TO AVOID DANGEROUS LEAKAGE OF THE BATTERY

ELECTROLYTE.

CAUTION

ELECTROLYTE CONTAINS SULPHURIC ACID: AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES,

SKIN AND CLOTHES. IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL CONTACT, RINSE WITH ABUN-

DANT WATER AND CONSULT A DOCTOR.
