PREHEATING THE BAKING STONES
1. Let the stones come to room temperature before beginning the preheat exercise.
Keep the oven door closed at all times during this procedure!
1. Set the oven to 100°F (38°C) for four hours, the temperature will increase by itself until it reaches 250°F (121° C)
2. Increase the temperature to 300°F (149°C) for 1 hour.
3. After preheating the stones for 1 hour at 300°F (149°C), gradually increase the temperature by 50°F (10°C) per
hour until 500°F (260°C) temperature is reached.
Do not alter this procedure!
Your oven is now ready to cook at the temperature you desire.
HOW TO GLAZE THE SHELVES (MAINTENANCE REFERENCE J)
IMPORTANT
A failure to correctly preheat the stones can lead to warping, cracking, disintegration and even the stones exploding!
