Since 2012, Pinion has stood for reliable and precise gearbox
shifting technology – “Made in Germany”. The unique central
gearboxes are based on the spur gearing principle modelled
after automotive technology and are used by over 100 bicycle
manufacturers around the world. The Pinion MGU combines this
gearbox technology with a wear-free, brushless electric motor
in a compact package. Equipped with electronic shifting and
powered by Pinion’s own hardware and software, it is the heart
of a completely new drive system for e-bikes.
