ATTENTION
The Pinion E-Drive System is equipped with a legally
prescribed tamper detection system to prevent use outside
the legal framework. If the values are implausible, the user
receives a warning message and the motor assistance is
deactivated.
If more than 100 kilometres have been driven during which
tampering was detected while driving, the assistance is
permanently deactivated. The MGU can only be reset via the
FIT service.
When installed, the serial number on the top of the MGU cannot
be read. The serial number of the MGU can be shown on the
display.
CRANKS
The MGU has the Pinion standard crank axle. All Pinion cranks
can be used. Third-party products are not permitted.
